<div>The sessions have been going great and I&#8217;m reaping the benefits of attending 4 boot camps a week.  I really like how the sessions are changed up throughout the week, and most importantly the warm up and cool down sessions.  If not for these, I would have probably been gone after the trial period.  Overall, this type of workout fits my lifestyle very well.  I certainly do not have time to go to a gym for 2 hours a day.</div>

<div>All of the coaches are amazing!  Willing to help and non-judgemental at all levels; a truly professional and knowledgable staff.  In particularly, Missy has gone out of her way to ensure that we are treating a snowboarding injury I received in January.  She stayed after 8PM to show me a way to stretch it, and like magic it feels so much better.  THANKS MISSY!  Melissa is more concentrated on form, which I really like because, to me, it&#8217;s not about getting the most reps in, it&#8217;s about doing the exercise right to gain the maximum benefit.  John is the workhorse of the bunch.  He&#8217;s always pushing to go lower, push harder, just one more!  I&#8217;ve really noticed my stamina improve under John&#8217;s watch.  And, last but not least, Kristen!  Thank you for your encouragement and flexibility through these pass couple of months, and congratulations on the launch of your new studio.  Your words that night were truly inspiring.</div>

<p><strong>Height:</strong> 5&#8217;1&#8243;</p>
<p><strong>Initial Weight:</strong> 130.5 (I got to 125 during a good season, but the holidays ballooned me back to 130)</p>
<p><strong>Current Weight:</strong> 127.3</p>

<p>Takedown Challengers have completed their first week on the challenge today and while I can&#8217;t speak for everyone else, I can say that for me, it has been AMAZING so far! I&#8217;ve lost three pounds, feel lighter, never bloated and I don&#8217;t need to hit snooze on my alarm clock 500 times. I wake up without feeling like I need more sleep and have more energy throughout the day. Which, for the last couple of months had been quite an issue for me.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not actually sure why the Takedown Challenge is giving me more energy than usual because, when I started, I was already pretty much a clean eater &#8211; cooking my own meals, thinking about the lean protein, gravitating towards whole foods, drinking water, etc. But I suppose my problem was not the stuff I was consuming, but <em>when</em>, <em>how</em> and <em>how much</em> I was consuming. I mean, you don&#8217;t need to be so strict when you are maintaining, but when you&#8217;re trying to lose weight, it&#8217;s important to take all things into consideration. I don&#8217;t think I ever got my portions right by myself and I was definitely not incorporating <em>all</em> nutrients needed for <em>every</em> meal. I&#8217;m thinking these small changes are what&#8217;s making me feel better and present.</p>
<p>Within the first couple of days on this challenge, I was feeling my body adjust itself to this style of eating.  It was kind of hard in the beginning and still is, especially from lunch time to snack time, but I&#8217;m determined to stick to it.</p>
<p>Like right now, I&#8217;m sipping on a cold black coffee, pretty hungry, and very much looking forward to my snack&#8230; And I keep looking at the clock&#8230; and it&#8217;s so close&#8230; yet so far.</p>
<p>Hopefully, it won&#8217;t be like this much longer once my body is &#8220;taught&#8221; to use my own body fat as an energy source.   I&#8217;m not sure, but we will see.</p>
<p>I love that I don&#8217;t have to think much about anything, just FOLLOW. So that is what I&#8217;ve been doing. Following a lot of instructions. I came into this pretty determined after thinking about it for a night when Kristen asked me if I wanted to do the challenge. I wasn&#8217;t too sure at first, but as I began to get everyone else ready for the challenge, the more I saw how great it looked and how I definitely wanted to try it! It looks like a <strong>sure</strong> thing, if you just stick to the plan. Plus, I want to lose these last 10-15 lbs that I haven&#8217;t been able to budge since my initial huge weight loss of 60 lbs back in 2010. And I run, and in order to run faster, I need to shed some weight.</p>

<p>I just pick however many units I&#8217;m alloted for that meal from each of these macro-nutrient ideas. It&#8217;s a lifesaver and totally tailored to me.</p>
<p>The recipes are also SOOO good. I made only two things from this week&#8217;s recipe book, but they were delicious.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You wouldn&#8217;t know it, but every week at I Luv My Body Fitness there is <em>at least</em> one incredible feat someone has accomplished, or an amazing event happened in their lives or something SILLY and random just happened and NEEDED to be told to the world! We&#8217;re an amazing bunch at I Luv My Body Fitness and we want to share that with everyone. <em>We really do</em>.</p>
<p>And so, our Monthly Fitness Success Magazine was born. We wanted to get this going <em>a very long time ago</em>, and now, we have a good grasp of it (and someone who can actually do it ha ha, our admin Amanda)! So be on the lookout for it every month.</p>
